CURRENT & UPCOMING LIBRARY EVENTS

Feb Special Events

*  We will be selling rose bushes again - white, red, yellow, pink, purple and multicolored - both bushes & climbers.  Come by the library to see pictures and place pre-orders.  The roses will arrive on April 23rd!

*  Father-Daughter Valentine's Day Dance...Feb 11th from 7-9pm at the HSISD Cafeteria, cost is $10.  There will be refreshments, a DJ and a FREE picture!  You can purchase tickets in the library, school offices, City Hall, Teel's and Med Shop!

*  Help us turn the museum area of the library into a 1960s room for wildflower trails!  We want 60s music playing, pictures of parades, weddings, school events, family reunions and especially pictures with buildings in the background!  We need your help!  If you have something - pictures, prom dresses and old chrome dinette set we can use - let us know!!!

*  Brown Bag Lunches will be served on Feb 1st & 15th!

*  "Clean and Green" is scheduled to be presented by Pam Lincoln from the Texas Extension Service on Feb 16th @ 10:30 am.  You can come and learn some new ways to make your home more enviromentally safe!!!

We have a new book discussion group meeting at the library.  We will be discussing the book "The Paris Wife" by Paula McLain at our Feb 28th meeting at 6:30 pm, it is available in print at the library.  This group is free and open to anyone who is interested in attending.  We hope to see you there!!!

We now have FAX Service available!  For local and 1-800 numbers, the cost is $1.00 per fax.  That's per fax - not per page!  For long distance numbers, the cost is $2.00 per fax!

We serve a "Brown Bag" Lunch on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month!  The cost if $5.00 and we will deliver to local businesses or you can pick up your order at the First Baptist Church FLC.
