Genealogy Club The LAST Wednesday of each month @ 3:00. It's FREE so come share with us. This is led by Liz Pedigo Avis.
Page Turners Book Club On May 30 the book for discussion will be Paradise by Toni Morrison. The group meets at 10:30 and there are always refreshments. The book club meeting regularly scheduled for May 23 will be postponed until May 30 due to end of school events.

Gardening Club meets the third Thursday of each month at 2 pm. This is led by master gardener Tony Cates.
Preschool story time has returned on Tuesdays at 10:30 am. This is led by Shannon Perez. This is for 3-5 year old children or sometimes almost 3 years old. There is also a class for elementary aged homeschool children led by Jean Austin.
Clothing Resale will be on Friday and Saturday, August 2 and 3 beginning at 8 am each day. We will begin accepting clothing donations in June.

"From Dirt to Dinner" is the theme for the free checkout of heirloom vegetable seeds through the library. You may check out six packages of seeds that include planting instructions. This is your chance to give gardening a try with very little to no expense for you! This is a joint project with the Cass County Master Gardeners!
Gary Pinkerton, author of Trammel's Trace: the First Road to texas from the north, has written a new book. The library will host a book signing for him on Sunday afternoon, June 23 at 2:00 pm. The library hosted a book signing for his first book and had an overflow crowd.
TOPS (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets at the library on Monday mornings. Weigh-in is at 9:30 and the meeting is at 10:00. There is a small charge for this meeting payable to TOPS.
Summer Read begins on June 4 at 10:30 am for preschool and elementary students and will continue each Tuesday during June and July. "A Universe of Stories" for all children!!!! Story/science activity time for grades 4 through junior high will be a 1:30 on Tuesdays and also continue through June and July. The first afternoon program will be presented by junior high science teacher Amy Blackwell and it will be on SPACE!!! June 6 brings Daingerfield State Park Rangers Ms Onlie and Ms Tammy. They will present a program on the sun. You will also do a craft. Spring Market will provide a free hot dog lunch at the conclusion of the library program. June 13 brings nationally famous Circus Chickendog.
