Gardening Club meets the third Thursday of each month at 2 pm. This is led by master gardener Tony Cates.
Preschool story time has been replaced by the summer read program at 10:30 on Tuesdays.
Clothing Resale will be on Friday and Saturday, August 2 and 3 beginning at 8 am each day. We are now accepting donations of good clean used clothing and shoes.

"From Dirt to Dinner" is the theme for the free checkout of heirloom vegetable seeds through the library. You may check out six packages of seeds that include planting instructions. This is your chance to give gardening a try with very little to no expense for you! This is a joint project with the Cass County Master Gardeners!
Gary Pinkerton, author of Trammel's Trace: the First Road to texas from the north, has written a new book. The library will host a book signing for him on Sunday afternoon, June 23 at 2:00 pm. The library hosted a book signing for his first book and had an overflow crowd.
TOPS (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets at the library on Monday mornings. Weigh-in is at 9:30 and the meeting is at 10:00. There is a small charge for this meeting payable to TOPS.
Summer Read begins on June 4 at 10:30 am for preschool and elementary students and will continue each Tuesday during June and July. "A Universe of Stories" for all children!!!! Story/science activity time for grades 4 through junior high will be a 1:30 on Tuesdays and also continue through June and July. The afternoon programs for June 25 will be presented by Cass County agent John Ferguson and on July 2 will be presented by junior high science teacher Amy Blackwell.

June 27 will bring the Southwest Dairy Museum from Sulphur Springs. They will bring a live cow.
